A list of top 100 albums would be meaningless if all I listened to was 100 albums in 2020. Even with a list of this size I still had to cut a significant amount of albums, and on top of that I listened to hundreds more.

As shat as 2020 has been, it has been a great year in music. Although the pandemic has financially crippled musicians, music venues, and all staff involved in making it all run, the silver lining here is that it has sparked creativity in some.  From the uptick in at home livestream shows, albums recorded during the pandemic, and creative livestream/on demand musical productions.

Music has helped me get through this crazy year (and beyond), so I'm very thankful for the abundance of passionate musicians sharing their craft with the world, and often with little to no monetary gain. I try to support all the bands that I can, and hopefully they will come out the other side of this being able to play a show in my area.
